It would probably be a good idea to start here: http://www.oldenglishsheepdogclubofamer ... ectory.htm

Even if none of the breeders sort of close to you are planning any litters in the near future, it usually pays to talk to them because then perhaps they know of someone who is planning a litter and so on. I don't think there are any OESCA breeders in the So Fl area specifically, but Edy's in Florida last I checked. And though I don't know if Anna J breeds any more, I believe she is still listed, so by all means give her a call and see what she has to say.

Keep us posted and :crossed:

Yeah, I was thinking of Edy too, but don't know......she just had a litter and does one at year, at most. May have to travel a bit to get a hairy little friend.
None have puppies im checking other states
i found a breeder and im getting my puppy in a couple days
:clappurple: :clappurple:
That was fast...who is it??
\/\/ 8O \/\/ that was fast!

Are you sure you didn't find a commercial breeder?
no a private breeder found out about her from a very good friend
Can you tell us who it is?
Just wondering since you had stated you do want a responsible breeder 8)
I goofed my post and edited!
Honestly, a breeder that is going to let you have a pup
in a couple of days is not going to have time to check out your referances.

I am not saying you wouldn't be a good owner but, you also asked about raising them...
Maybe you should take a little more time and research the breed.

Just a little opinion from me!
im sorry let me correct myself were going to see the mother well be talking and checking about the dogs it will be at least 2 months till i get one
also there not born yet ive checked him out he has only champion dogs
:clappurple: :clappurple:
I got it, I thought it sounded like you were doing your homework so, I was curious!

Congrats on the new pup and hang in there....the waiting is the hardest part!
ill be postin pics of the dogs when there ready to be picked and keeping you guys updated
also how do you think a sheepie will handle a little bichon
There are lots of folks on here with small dogs too
that seem to do fine together!
