Puppy having Seizures

I have a 3 month old Australian Shepherd that has started having seizures. My vet has tested him for Liver Shunt and done all kinds of blood tests and everything comes out o.k. He walks around the house panting excessively. He drinks lots of water and seems to poop 6 or 7 times a day. He was on vegetables for awhile and he ate mashed potatoes and green beans. On this combination he did perfect. He didn't drink all the water. He actually laid down and chewed on things (like chewing my phone cord), he slept all night and was a normal puppy. We took him off the vegetables and put him back on Iam's puppy food and he is walking through the house panting and drinking water again. He may lay down for 2 seconds and then he is back up again. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe he has some sort of metabolic issue - maybe he isn't digesting proteins properly?
:(

Have you notified your breeder? This may be hereditary.

I hope you figure out what is wrong - please let us know.
Is the Iams food color and preservative free? I guess I'm wondering if there is just something in commercial kibble that's at least contributing to your baby's problem. I would talk with a vet to see if there is a diet more balanced in protein/fat/carbs that will meet your puppy's dietary needs so he will grow properly yet control his seizures. If it were me, I'd go with home cooking if at all possible with the approval and strict supervision and guidance of my vet.

Please take a moment to read the information here and speak with your vet-

And as Dawn has recommended, please contact his breeder to alert them of the problem.
You mentioned he chewed on your phone cord. Letthe vetknow this./ Sometimes they can get an electrical shock from chewing on cords & it will cause seizures. Had a mixed breed years ago that this happened with.
