new puppy - submissiveness

I have a 3 month old who is VERY submissive. The biggest problem is the submissive urination. As soon as someone speaks to her, she dribbles! We have tried ignoring her for the first 30 seconds or so when first approaching her, but she does it anyway! Then, she rolls onto her back, with feet in the air. I'm very gentle with her and I speak gently but firmly even when reprimanding her.
She sits when told, but that doesn't stop her from peeing! She has been very good with the housebreaking, (kennel training for night time and when we are out for a period of time),

The other problem is mouthing and biting....I'm hoping this is just a puppy thing and she will outgrow it, but it is VERY annoying that she constantly wants to be mouthing our hands and clothes as we pet her, or play with her. I've been holding her mouth, saying "no bite" for weeks, it's having no positive effect. She seems to think that I'm playing and bites even harder! Someone mentioned grabbing the sides (?) of the mouth?? Any feedback on that?

My puppy is doing that too - and everyone assures me it will go away as well. I've also tried holding her mouth shut and telling her not to bite.

I almost wish that I had your problem with the submissivness - Momo is far from submissive and down right bossy! She tries taking the lead, barking at bigger dogs than her, tries to make bigger dogs roll over for her, tries to make ME roll over for her... I can't lay on my back around her or she will keep biting me (mainly my face) very hard... She has even pushed me down a hill while we were both climbing up - she got up there first the pawed my shoulders! I keep rolling her like the vet told me too and it seems to help as long as I stay on top of it.

I would just keep up what you are doing though about her submissivness though. Just keep giving her praise and treats and soon she should be alright. Lots of behaviors in puppies take a while to break or change (I know I'm learning that one right now!).
