Sam and Pebbles

Carolinas OES Rescue has two more baby's in today!
They are wonderful dogs who were very well loved!

I am telling this for a reason...
The owner could not keep them anymore so, we offered to help!
She only wanted what was best for the kids and agreed to let us
help!
Again, I say, she loved these kiddos....

She agreed to let us help her rehome, with the agreement that
the new family would alter before placement!

A "breeder" in Georgia wanted the dogs and was told she had to go through
our screenng process!
Well, she didn't make it...she tried to talk the owner into letting her breed the dogs!
I emailed the "breeder" she tried to act as if she just wanted them as pets!

I won't say the name just yet, until I get permission from the dogs former
owners...I don't think it would be fair not to ask them!

Just wanted to give a buyer/seller BEWARE!
PLEASE, do your homework!!!!!!!!!
People are crazy!

So nice that the owner is wanting to work with rescue to find her babies good homes. It shows that she really loves them. The more I help out with rescue, the more I see how cruel people are. It makes me realize why I spend my resources helping dogs, not people.

Best of luck in finding new homes for Sam and Pebbles. I hope they get a perfect home.
Kathy, I don't know if people realize all the time you spend trying to help OESs you personally take in and those
you try to get into other rescues. You're not a person who seeks credit for things and I know sometimes credit
has gone to others instead... even mistakenly. I shake my head at this.

Thank you for taking in these two kids so they have a good chance at finding a qualified pet home. I'm glad
these two didn't end up as breeder dogs and that they'll soon be spayed/neutered. This is the 3rd time in the past
couple of weeks that I've heard of breeders purposely seeking out dogs for free, at a low price and even from a
rescue. It goes to show that some people don't care anything about the health and temperament of the puppies
they produce. :| It will never change...

I think the best we can do is try to educate buyers and also attempt to help those that care about their dogs rehome
them a little better if they don't opt for rescue. It's the reason for sharing this information with most OES advertisers
rehoming their dogs- http://untilyoufindme.com/Rehoming-Your ... eepdog.htm

We will need pictures of Sam and Pebbles. Hoping you have great homes already waiting in the wings for them.
Thank you Jennie and Jaci!

Yes, they have appointments next week
to take away some parts Wink Laughing
Of course also, the dreaded heartworm test too My fingers are crossed
Keep us posted on Sam and Pebbles! And, post pics when you can, too!!!
