From bed to floor

Cappi has slept on my bed for a year now, it started because he was so poorly and I needed to know where he was in the night. Now he jumps on the bed and waits for me to get in before snuggling down for the night. I admit, I love having him next to me, even when he's on his back snoring!

However, I now have another oes, 6.5mths, who has slept on the bedroom floor since her arrival at new year, about half an hour before its time to get up she will jump up on the bed for a cuddle, this time is slowly increasing, I dont really want two dogs on the bed all night. When my pup was poorly a few weeks ago Cappi slept next to her all night, on the floor, it was very sweet, but once she recovered he was back beside me.

Is it possible to get them both on the floor? How do I do it? I have tried leaving them downstairs, but they bark and I am really aware of any noise they make will annoy my neighbours, so they can stay upstairs where I can keep them quiet, but on the floor.

Good luck..our mistake was letting Moe get on the bed in the first place. But over the past few months he gets in when i go to bed..jumps off when I turn off the light..then jumps up again around fivish before I wake up..our problem is he lies in the doorway between bedroom and bath and if I have to get up to pee in the middle of the night and dont pay attention I take a dive.. :excited: Now during the day the bed is his...We started by teacing down when we turn the light off and giving a treat.
My first sheepie slept in my bed next to me all the time. Now with 2 and a husband, they cannot - or I would end up on the floor 8O

We ahve a nice cushiony dog bed in our room the love to sleep on...Although in the morning, when I get up, they both jump in next to hubby!

good luck dreamer jumps on the bed then lites off he jumps down then around 3 am every nite he puts his front legs up for me to lift him he can't get a running start cause the door is closed so i have to get up and lift up his back legs .i tryed to ignore him and he will moan for hours
House rule - no dogs in the bedroom.
With all our dogs, it would be too insane.
So, the room is gated and only the cat sleeps with us!
Granted Tipup is huge (15 lb cat), so it's enough
Ha ha Mady! No, one husband, two sheepies
