Non-OES...Harley is 13 today!
He came to us in August 2009 as a foster boy, at age 11.5 years. His lifelong family lost their home, they were in a rental that allowed "small" dogs. Harley was definitely over the limit, and they were facing eviction...  Faced with the option of putting thier senior dog to sleep, they luckily came across Basset Buddies, and we (the rescue) took him in. He was relinquished while we were at Bassetfest, the large BBR fundraiser out in the Milwaukee area. Todd and I felt so BAD for him, so we volunteered to foster him. So, we came back home with 2 senior bassets! Harley turns a wonderful 13 YEARS Young today! Harley on the right -  and he has best-buddy bonded with Chewie   Happy Birthday, Harley!!!  |

| I get a kick out of bassetts.......short legs on big dogs. yeah, he probably was too heavy for the restrictions.....but not too short. Poor guy, glad he fell into a wonderful new home. Happy B-day old man. |

| Thanks everyone! Harley got to celebrate his 13th birthday by going to Minneapolis on Sunday and being part of the Basset Buddies booth at the Pet Expo. He had a WONDERFUL time and was soaking up all the attention! |
