I'd like to introduce Gracie. She's about 4 months old.

Lovely name for a lovely girl. Friends just lost their OES girl and since I "gave" them one of our girl's name for her.......Crumpet.....they've asked me to come up with a new name for a new girl they will get in May or so. Gracie was where I was leaning. :clappurple:

You're right. I still get sad when I look at pictures of Sadie. Gracie doesn't replace her, but it's difficult to be sad when you have a puppy bouncing around and being cute.

I'll always miss Sadie, but I'm going to concentrate on giving Gracie a good life.

Thanks for commenting, sounds like you've been through the same thing.
Welcome! Gracie is adorable--love that sweet face! No you are right she can never 'replace' your Sadie--but she can carve a whole new place for herself in your heart! And that just makes your memories of Sadie so much sweeter and it is easier to smile when you think of her! Enjoy your new baby!
