Dentistry for less? Free Clinic?

Many people have asked how to get discounted veterinary dental care. I was told that if you go to Petsmart at the right time you can get discounted medical care, but dentistry? I am thinking it is about time for a good cleaning, which of course means sedation and meds and all the rest. Has anyone heard of veterinary clinics maybe at a school or another "free dental clinic day"?
