Julius can open doors!!!

So my 4 month old puppy, Julius opens the front door to let hmself back inside the house. The only problem is that he doesn't close it behind him!! haha. Two days ago, I ran downstairs to put a load of laundry in while he was outside, and when I came back upstairs, not only did he let himself back in, but brought in a friend....................a cat!!!! I let the cat stay a while, but I really wish Julius would ask before he invites friends over!!!! :excited: LOL.

Oh that is too funny! Next time maybe he will bring a few squirrels? Maybe a raccoon? Or you will find several dogs having a party. Smart boy!
Let's himself IN? I have no problem with the broken latch on the storm door that allows my kids to let themselves out, but they can't get back in. While it saves having uninvited guests, it does mean I'm pestered all day with dogs wanting back in.

Maybe we can work out a compromise, your pup can teach mine how to open the door and mine can teach yours how to be more discriminating about guests.
Hey that's great! Now all you need is a very low pressure door closer and you're all set!

For our dog door we are more ....rustic!
Just a simple door spring. Works great!
