| (edit) Very sad... the article confused me though I thought that he was already euthanized at the shelter. I hope a rescue gets him. I just picked up an old Mastiff from a shelter that was abandoned in a house when his family left. The neighbors heard him barking and brought him in. He's quite possibly the nicest dog I have ever met. |

| Why they couldn't have just taken him in and let him go with dignity at the vet's office is beyond me...that article had me bawling. Saying goodbye is part of taking care of these sweet souls. |
