#1 All Systems Whiteners - - Experience?

We have lots of newly tinted brown hair due to paw-licking.

Has anyone had experience with #1 All Systems Pure White Lightening Shampoo or #1 All Systems Professional Whitening Shampoo. I've read both descriptions on the #1 All Systems website, and I can't tell which one might be better to lighten and whiten this brown hair.

We're washing paws after each walk, and allergy pills are turned back on again. Trying to get to the cause of the paw-licking.

I can't tell whose house this is anymore, we're trying to acclimate to being the dog's servants.

The only one I've used is the #1 All Systems whitening gel. I think it worked... :D
Hard to say as that was during showing and when Chewie was in full coat he was always hot and drinking and panting and drinking and panting.....
He never got too dark, considering all that excess moisture constantly saturating his face. I used the gel, also different white shampoos and concoctions as well.. :cow:
I use #1 All Systems Professional Whitening Shampoo as my primary shampoo. It definitely brightens whites but it won't remove hardcore stains from licking. I find the whitening gel confusing. I tried it on Clyde a long time ago. The directions are vague at best and I don't know if it didn't work or I'm doing it wrong. Or both.

That green EZ Groom shampoo that you heat up can help lighten stains a bit but it can be a bit drying (green and hot are a recipe for hair dryness). Now though, I'd hesitate to use anything too harsh if you have paw licking issues. Until you know why, I think I'd just use a very mild hypoallergenic shampoo and let the stains grow out a bit. I have skin allergies myself and every time a whitening shampoo gets on my hands, my skin starts peeling off in chunks and itches like crazy. I would worry that it might end up irritating existing allergies. Once the allergies are under control, then I'd break out the big guns!
if your having allergy problems then deal with that first, try a mild or medicated shampoo to help, theres lots that help with the itching.

i have tried most of the #1 all systems range and the alpha white is the best. but leave it on for 10 minutes then rinse and maybe do it again to see a result. but it may irritate sensative skin.

try using cider vinigar! put a little in the water bowl, it neutralizes the acid in the mouth that is causing the staining. but not all dogs will drink it.
good luck xx
The best whitening shampoo I've used is called Light Blue Shade. It's actually meant for old ladies white hair LOL
It works awesome though. It's about 10 bucks a bottle at any pharmacy around here.

I make a mix, and one of my ingredients is my own white shampoo - it's for silver hair, but I used it to keep my highlights light....and I happily share with Chewie
What do you think about a tear stain remover for beard stains? It's called beaphar tear stain remover. I'm thinking about trying that on my dog.
