urine stinks

I can barley walk outside somedays, because of the stink of the boy's urine. They have lots of water available to them so I am not thinking that is it. (although i can't force them to drink it) They are both healthy as far as I know. Any help out there???

It's the season, frozen ground and little bacterial action to break it down. We get a bit stinky here too as they always pee in the same spot though there is an immediate acre just for that need.

Some recommend lime, but I hate it on their feet since it isn't breaking down. How about kitty litter.....no, they'd probably eat it. Well, there's always OdoBan available at Sam's and HomeDepot. Mix and spray around, have no clue what it would do to vegetation though....like all that pee isn't damaging either.

Around here we endure until warmer weather, more water and increased sun and bacterial action....throw some compost over the area when it warms up to reintroduce the microorganisms.
