Bully Stick Show

I gave my dogs bully sticks tonight because I was tired and need them to keep themselves busy. One goes on the couch with my husband and happily chews her stick. The other one follows me in and now while I am on the computer happily chews his stick....Nothing exciting.

After a few minutes I want to check on the size of the stick left, and I ask him, How is that boney. Let me see? He picks it up, walks over with it his mouth and literally shows it to me. Stands there with it in his mouth until I say, okay and he goes back to happily chew! So funny to see. As if he really understands my question...Just love my doggys

what a clever boy!! :hearts:
Very cute. We were having some nice past and wine last night, and we gave Mady a bully stick. She was very happy with it....until we grated some fresh parmesan cheese on our past. Mady was over in a flash sniffing around (alll cheese belongs to her of course!), so... we grated some fresh parmesan on her bully stick, and back to the bully stick she goes...
Not that Mady is spoiled or anything.

I was wondering about the bully sticks...do your dogs chew them right up or swallow them with a few inches left?

What length are the bully sticks when you buy them?
Are they sold under any other name?
Do all dogs do well with these, or are there sometime upset bellies?

I'm not sure I'm even seen them at our pet store.

Peggy...I know that the pet store in Milton carries them. Oaks and Syd have never had them so it will be interesting to see the feedback on the forum about them. Let me know if you want some and I'll bring them to our next play date.
Great story. They are sooo smart - when they wanna be! Enjoy it!

I also want to point out that I've been to Milton and stuck my head under the big bell in front of City Hall (or town hall, or whatever municipal building it was :D )
:go: Lovely story. He knows how to make his mum happy!
I have a feeling that Howie will not be quite as willing to show me his treat. Smart pup you have.

Thanks Barbara, please do bring a couple bully sticks to the playdate. I'll have money for you.
