1-1-11 Is HERE!
Never made it to midnight. Early dinner and TRIED to stay up to watch the ball in NYC but doggys were pacing to go to bed and once they went in, we soon followed! But awoke to a BEAUTIFUL day! Clear skies, sunny and warm for this time of year - about 45 degrees.  Believe it or not, my contractor is here grouting my new floor  Hope everyone had a safe night - especially those battling severe weather and tornadoes. |

| We made it until about 1AM. Had some friends over so that helped. My dogs were wondering why they were allowed up so late. And they expected a 2nd biscuit at 1AM when it was lights out. Made no difference in the morning hours tho'. Mariah was ready for her breakfast at 6:45AM Warm weather here today. 53 degrees right now. I called my Mom in Phoenix yesterday. Just to  her. It was barely 50 degress at her place while it was 57 degrees here in Ohio! No sunshine here today. Gray, overcast & drizzling on & off. Only good thing is the snow & ice are all gone in the dog run! Makes it much safer for Isaac out there.Now to get some energy going here to do the laundry, finish up some club business & start to take down the Christmas decorations.  |
| I was alone at home with Charlie as Max was with his girlfriend. Charlie and me had a quite eve, at 6.30pm I already fell asleep in front of the tv. At 10pm I had a bath for about an hour and then went onto the computer cause I got bored. Charlie slept most of the time but she realised the strange noises from outside and looked at me a couple of times. We than went to bed at 1am and gone up at 9.45 am. Late for me!! lol  So it was a nice quite new years eve and it's really funny when I got to write now 01.01.11! Nice number if you wanted to get married!!!  Happy New Year to everyone!!!  |
| Heard nothing, saw nothing but at 12:30 Harry woke me up to put him back on the bed.....which means something disturbed him and he had jumped down....midnight noise. Balmy 25 degrees |
| I didn't make it up till midnight either. Me and the pups fell asleep around 10 on the couch. Got up at 11:00 let them out very warm outside. Put pups in there crates and went to bed. Midnight on the dot Fireworks everywhere. Someone across the lake was shooting off the pretty colorful ones. I peeked in at the dogs and they both were sound asleep. It was 46 this morning cloudy and drizzly now its 35 and sunny, expected to get down in the 20's by morning. Hope everyone had a safe evening, and best wishes for a happy and safe 2011.
