Brick's gut is REALLY rumbling! What's it mean?

Brick's gut is REALLY rumbling and churning this morning.
It's really loud. I can hear it from accross the room.

It's coming from his waist area and between his hips.
He didn't want to eat this morning.

His morning pee & poop looked normal.

Does this mean anything?

Around here it means there will be a mess to clean up, somewhere. Hopefully he can get outside.

MO is notorious for stomach grumbles to where we had to put her on Pepic AC....far fewer middle of the night, "Mom, I have to get outside NOW" runs. Jack had the rumbles the other day and I ignored them and the next a.m. I had a nice yellow vomit pile in the hall.

Hopefully Brick will work thru this without an eruption. Did he have some extra holiday treats?
Yeah, I was thinking he was going to have some explosive runs, so I put him back outside for awhile, but nothing.
It's still rumbling but not as bad as it was about 1.5 hours ago.

I didn't feed him any human food over the weekend. He just got his dog food like always.

Santa brought him some of those Canine Carry-Outs and he had a couple of those either yesterday or Saturday. But he's been eating those his whole life without issues.
He had a Dingo Wag-N-Wrap before Christmas. He ate half on one day and the other half a few days later.

The only other thing I know he ingested was a piece of fabric from a new stuffed animal I bought him for Christmas.
It was supposed to be tougher than other stuffed animals but he ripped a 2 inch by 2 inch square hole in the frog's head within minutes of getting him. I couldn't find that little piece of fabric from the frog so I'm assuming he ate it. It doesn't appear that he ate any of the stuffing.
I just put him outside again.
He's trying to get to the grass.
Hope he feels better.
Good luck with finding grass too. :cow:

He found some of the long grass up against the basement wall.
He just ate his breakfast.
A little late but he scarfed it all down.
I really thought he was going to have explosive diarrhea the way his gut sounded. I suppose he still can but I really don't hear anything abnormal anymore.
Weird.

Maybe it was just gas working it's way through - we all could get that lucky!!
Guess it takes a bit more energy to move fabric thru the gut. Stay tuned, it could still be messy.
How is Brick tonight? Fabric can cause a blockage. Watch him carefully. If he has problems with pooping or can't poop at all, I would take him to the Vet. Meantime, some Pepcid and gas - x might help....I'm more wondering about the dingo bones? Aren't they a rawhide?

Hope he passes whatever it is. Partial blockages can occur as well. I remember someone on this board whose dog ate a corn cob and was on and off not feeling well and finally found it was a corn cob that had to be surgically removed. Hope yours isn't as serious. But be on alert for unusual pooping, etc.
Good Luck...
He seems to be doing fine.
I fed him dinner at about 5:30 PM. He scarfed it down.
I put him outside and he peed and pooped.

I'll have to look at his "present" tomorrow when it's light out, but it didn't look bad coming out.

He was running around pretty good the last 2 times he was outside.

He's eaten far worse things in his life & passed those.
I'll keep my eye on him.

And yes, the Dingos are partially rawhide. He's never had a problem with those before.
Glad to see that Brick's doing better!

BTW, Sorry we never hooked up with you at the dog park this past summer. I ended up having surgery and have been recovering since then. I haven't been on this forum in ages and completely forgot. Winston is loving all of our snow though. Looks like the East Coast has finally caught up with our December snow fall record! ; )
Brick had a bunch of energy in him last night before bed.
He was doing his shuttle runs all thru-out the house.

He ate well this morning and went right out for a prompt pee & poop.

Jacqui,
Hope that you're feeling better after your surgery and glad to see you back on the board.
