Laundry Assistant

As mentioned in another thread, I'm having new floors put in this week. So, yesterday, I decided to give Beau a little extra freedom. He's not had an accident in quite a while, so he's earned it - right?

So, while I'm in the shower, he's running around having a fun time...doing what? why hiding my clothes of course!! I came through the house to find he'd stuffed my socks and other "unmentionables" in various places...behind a cushion on the chair, under a table, beside a plant, and was proudly carrying another piece in his mouth -grinning at me as if to say "Look Mom! I'm helping with the laundry!" What I would've given for a camera at that moment! He's Priceless!

That's wonderful! lol Nothing better than freshly slimed clean clothes!
What a sweetie !
Knowing you were busy, Beau was trying to help !
Its amazing how they love to have a job. Since he likes the laundry
concept....
Now just teach him how to run the washer and dryer !

Bogart loves to pickup sticks in the yard. Its not unusual for
us to be walking along, and he looks like a reindeer carrying
this large branch around. Some guys just like to work outside!!!
Hi,

This post made me chuckle as I could visualize this sheepie running around hiding "unmentionables". Yup a camera in hand would have been handy and the good thing is you didn't have guest arriving. :O)

Marianne and the boys
Clyde loves to play with my underwear so I have to really careful about shutting the hamper. He came downstairs a few weeks ago with a pair on his head. He shook them off before I could grab the camera but, man were we laughing! I swear he did it just to be a clown too because he got to the landing and just stopped and looked at us like he was waiting for a reaction!
Very cute... and when they are so cute all you can do is look at them, shake your head and laugh...
They say laughter is the best medicine! And with these clowns of ours, we should be healthy for years!!

Chris
How true! They do keep us laughing!!
Speaking of unmentionables............................... I'm wondering if MY dog is the only one with this peculiar habit................. I can have a pile of laundry on the floor which includes my clothes, my daughters (when she is home) and Doug's (my significant other), Tasker will root through and pull out ONLY my unmentionables  and socks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he'll then pile them in another room and start rolling on the pile. VERY STRANGE !
Ditto! And it's only my stuff too. I hide the hamper in the closet now otherwise he can't get enough of it!
Are dog owners allowed to have socks with no holes, brushes with no teeth marks, and panty hose that haven't been stretched across the yard? Just wondering
