Here is a recent thread where I review a new-to-me pin brush. They are proving to be very good in virtually every category of performance.

Whichever brand you choose you want a softly suspended pin brush, pin length of 3/4" to 7/8" and no balls on the tip. A good pin brush will be your primary tool for all Bobtail grooming.

Thanks and Cheers

I'm using the Chris Christensen Wood Pin Brush 20mm and a Chris Christensen Oval Gold Pin Brush on my 2 at the moment and they seem to be working :)

All I use is a combo resco greyhound comb. I have all the [popular] brushes folks will mention here because I can't help but want to try new things, but I always resort to the comb! The pin brushes are just what we give the kids to help now. The comb gets out all my matts, does a thorough job, and I feel more successful after a brushing :)

(Most own one comb and at least one brush)
