Done Shopping!

We must be on the outer fringes of the winter storm warning. Didn't get near as much as the weathermen said..but that's OK! It gave me a chance to get out after work & finish my Christmas shopping....thanks to my SIL. I picked her up at 3PM & we were done with my list & her's by 6:30PM! Granted I didn't have that much to buy but enough that I debated about going out on the bad roads. But it was either tonight or next Monday. Everyday inbetween is booked with either dog shows or company Christmas dinners. Weather got worse while we were in the mall. We managed to slide into the Olive Garden for a nice hot Italian dinner & then a careful drive home. Our storm warning is now extened until 10 AM Tuesday from 1PM today. My biggest concern is Isaac slipping on the icy snow in the dog run. We keep shoveling but it keeps coming down. So for now we take him out on an extenda lead so we can sort of control where he goes. I worry so much when they get old.

With free shipping I have done ALL my shopping online and have presents wrapped under the tree...I enjoy comparing prices and finding best deal...also like finding unique gifts...LOVE not going to the mall anymore! No snow here in Georgia but 15 degrees this am...staying inside and staying warm while taking care of 6 mth old grandaughter..even the dogs don't want to go out.
We didn't get "it" here either, despite all the weatherman drama! But brrrr, its cold! I did order most everything this year online, but stepped foot in the mall today. It wasn't bad, not like I expected, and the selection seemed good, at least for what I was needing. Now to wrap.... :( !
I'm only about half done :(

I need to head into town tomorrow with my list. It should be doable in a day.

I've been accumulating some stuff (need to go to the stashes and inventory  ) as well as ordered a few things online.

And of course start wrapping...NO wrapping done yet.
I still have no clue what to get my Dad! Every year this happens! Maybe a puppy...
Me too Linda! Aside from the gifts for the shelter kids, all my shopping was by brown truck elf. Not sure if I'm done, but have to quit as an unexpected trip to Colorado this weekend and motel rooms, gas, etc. (mother died--no tears, she was angry to have lived so long)

Sorry about your mom. It may be a blessing, but it's still so final. :(
Hope you have a safe trip up there.

I just need to get moving and get out shopping this morning. More snow storm coming (small one) today/tonight. And CRISIS - Todd is out of both coffee and MelloYello.... 8O
