Does Pepcid really help with antibiotics

I was wondering if Pepcid ac really helps when a dog takes antibiotics.

Thanks

I give Pepcid Ac about half and hour to the latest 60 minutes before giving the antibiotics. I give the Pepcid, wait about 15 minutes, feed their regular food and then after feeding, give the meds...I find it does help. I also give an ancilliphodopiliis ( spelling) withe the meal as well.

Pepcid ac has famo something or other and I know for a fact, unfortuately, they give that at the Er for stomach upset and excess gas... So I think it acts as a "coating" for the stomach - some antibiotics can be harsh.

Antibiotics should always be given with a meal to avoid stomach upset - even with humans :D

There are some antibiotics that have to be given on an empty stomach as they tend to be poorly asborbed if taken with food.
