Camille and Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a hit at my house, we were just the 2 of us, my partner and I, she took the task to cook dinner because I did work the night before so by the time I get off from work she was in the kitchen already cooking.

She knows that I love pumpkin pie so she made me a huge pie for Thanksgiving, she also cook turkey and everything that goes with it.

Well, we ate lunch/dinner but of course we did not have space for pie, later on, I ate some and Kathy ate some, I went into the office to start working( I am lucky I work from home) at 11 pm, I usually take my lunch at 3:30 in the morning, well, I went to lunch and after I got some turkey again! I was going back for a yummy piece of pie, I look all over, low and high and could not find it, then I saw it , the pie dish was empty, well I tough, either Kathy put it away or she really had a craving for pumpkin and she ate it.

In the morning, I was setting in the kitchen drinking my coffee before go the bed and she come in and ask me “why do you eat the whole pie and don’t save anything for me?” and I say, “hey I tough you ate it “

Turns out that Miss Camille went counter surfing and ate the pie, how do I know it was her, you may ask? Is only 2 of my dogs tall enough to reach the counter and Piper don’t like pumpkin at all, so, Camille had a ¾ of 12 inch pumpkin pie! She lick the pie dish clean! Don’t even a crumb was left !

Now I am going to have to wait until Christmas to get more!

Santa is not bringing her anything for Christmas! At least no more pumpkin pie !

how funny!!! Great Thanksgiving Story!!!!!
Wonder if the bellyache was worth it. Bet it was.
Princess Camille, I'm shocked!!!!
I thought a princess had better manners. If I'd known about the pie yesterday I might not have let Tiggy post you your Xmas present.

Oh well you're so cute I probably would have let her post it anyway. Hope you don't have belly ache.
   You'll learn top of refrigerators, behind latched doors and inside refrigerators are about the safest spot for food. Anything left out is fair game for a determined counter surfer.......I swear they move a chair to the counter to help in the effort.

I think under the circumstances, your companion could make 1 pie before Christmas.
Naughty, naughty, someone needs to tell her that is dangerous so close to Christmas. 8O
Don't want to get on the Santa Naughty List! :(

Our pies went in either the fridge or the microwave this week.

I'm sure the all the effert that Camille had to put into getting her "piece" of pie was worth it to her. They are so funny...next time I hope she leaves back at least two slices.
I'm laughing my butt off here..
A truly dedicated counter surfer can get to most everything. Just ask Garfunkel
