looking for a quick shrimp recipe

I'm on vacation on an island with no grocery store. We ate at the one restaurants last night that is open past 5. They are not open tonight.
So this is what I have on hand
1 lemon
2 limes
some garlic
olive oil
1 bag frozen shrimp
2 big bottles of rum
pina colada mix

does anyone have any good recipes I could make :D

Thanks Lisa

Drink the rum, both bottles, then you won't care that you don't have food! Do you have a bbq there on your tropical island? I would make a marinade of the ingredients you have, let the little shrimp swim around in that for awhile, then pop them on the bbq. Do you at least have any bread to eat with them? You could mix some olive oil and garlic and have a lovely dip for your bread, to have while you bbq the shrimp and drink pina coladas.

Where is it you are staying? And what time is dinner? :D
We are staying on North Captiva Island. I haven't travelled alot, but it has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. You can walk the beach and never pass a person.
We are headed to an island today called Cabbage Key. They have hamburgers.
Yay......

Make a marinade of olive oil, lemon, garlic and salt and pepper (cayenne pepper if you have it). Marinade the shrimp for about 30 minutes, and grill or saute.

I know exactly where you are! We used to stay on Pine Island. Also stayed at Fort Myers. Our Favorite side trip always was a day spent on La Costa (also calle Cayo Costa). Charter boat would drop us off & we were the only ones on the beach side of the island. No snack shops, no people not even any restrooms! But extremely beautiful & peaceful & turquoise water. Enjoy!
