Taking Jasper camping next weekend
Has anyone taking their sheepie camping yet? We're not exactly going to be roughing it (going to be in a camper and not a tent), but Jasper is still just a baby - only 4 months old. We usually camp out a lot during the spring & summer, so I'm hoping that he takes to it well. It's also going to be a 6+ hour drive (still not completely sure where ILs are wanting to go), the longest drive he's been on, so I hope that goes well too. Hopefully we'll all survive and come back in one piece, lol |

| You'll have a wonderful time. We've taken Abby to Mississippi several times to go camping. We usually go to Percy Quinn or Clear Springs (Homochitto). We've never had a bad camping trip with Abby. She loves to go for walks and never fails to attract attention which she LOVES. It's a great place for people and dog socialization. I would suggest that you bring water from home for the water dish and plenty of pooper scooper bags

Kinda funny - we're going to Louisiana for this trip.  My husband grew up in Bossier City/Shreveport, and we're heading to a state park outside Monroe. Not sure which one since ILs picked it out. We're hoping it doesn't rain on us this weekend.
Thanks for the well wishes everyone. I'll be sure to take a lot of pics...it'll be Jasper, and my ILs two dogs - a Jack Russel Terrier and a mini. schnauzer...should be fun! |
