vet visit with Pearl.
This morning, when Dino got up and took the dogs out, Pearl kept falling and falling and falling. Her front legs were drenched, either from licking herself or from her saliva. I found later that she pooped on her tuffet as she lay. She would not move all morning even when I went out of the room. (she is my velcro dog). So I knew something was terribly wrong. She is not eating and walking into things. She seem to get lost in the yard. I told the vet that, I knew this wasn't good and he agreed that it is the beginning of the end. After the results are in, we will decide what is best for my baby, pearlgirl. Thanks everyone for being here for me. I will be leaning on all of you..I will be needing your virtual hugs and love and support. |

Poor baby, I don't know if I should hope for a miracle or if it's wrong to get my hopes up. I've been browsing through your photos of Pearl, what a dear sweet girl. Well I'll hope she recovers or at least no longer suffers.  Lots of hugs to you and your family. |

| Pearl really is a very special girl. I had not been posting much on the forum but I came here to read everybody's stories, updates. I read all about her adventures and achievements. She is a very special lady. Thank you for being so strong for her. I have a Pet Communicator (Pet Psychic) that I have been working with. One of the very valuable things she told me is that of all her client's passed on pets she has ever communicated with, none of them ever told her they are not in a better place now or they are afraid. They are really in a better place. So if Pearl really needs to go to that place, know that she will not be suffering, she really will be in a better place. Hugs to you and gentle patting to Pearl. |
Gotta love the vet who tells you how it is....  but still never fun to hear.Hugs to you Val, Pearl is a sweetie and she has had a wonderful life with you and Dino and the family.
