5mo OES for adoption in STL
Mandolin or "Mandy" Birthday is May 20, 2010. She's ADORABLE! Black mask and black body. She has a tail. Fully housebroken, uses dogie door well. Excellent car manors. Passive with other dogs. Great with children. Absolutely LOVES to be with people. Decent with cats, she's nice to them but very curious which annoys the kitty's. Excellent for grooming including nails! Sleeps alright in a crate. She's new to it so she's still adjusting. Heals on a leash. Sits and waits for release to go through the door. Current on Vaccines. Adjusted quickly to her foster home, no noticeable separation anxiety. Never meets a stranger! She really is a great puppy. The best one I have ever fostered. She has very few drawbacks. Those include still needing spayed, jumping, and needing to potty promptly at 6am. That said, she has an amazing ability to hold her bladder for extended periods of time. At least compared to my little girl who has to potty every few hours and she is 5! Please message me with any leads or possible rescue groups she can get in on. I'm happy to continue fostering her, but the sooner she gets placed in a permanent, OES loving home, the better. (I have uploaded a photo and is waiting approval) |

| She sounds like a great little girl! And she's ADORABLE!!  Are you doing this as an individual or with a rescue? I'm sure there's a rescue that would be willing to do a courtesy post on Petfinder on both puppies if you're doing this by yourself. They may have applications on hand too. Thanks for keeping her safe until a home can be found.  |
| I occasionally get a frantic phone call from someone about an oes that needs to be placed. If I have the space and time I try to help as best I can. She's the only (foster) one I have atm. I would love to get her into a rescues "cue" for a new family. Any suggestions as to which one I should ask? I let NEOESR know I have her but with the distance I'm not sure how much they can help. I also e-mailed Carol Lake in Kansas City as well. I'm hopeful Carol can help. |

| Just a note... profile info indicates Erica hasn't logged in since Friday so she likely isn't getting the inquiries. Please don't get frustrated! There has been an OES-mix on the St. Louis Craigslist that keeps getting flagged (3 times anyway). | Hey guys! Thanks for all the e-mails, atm I have a close friend and family in AZ that has been on the lookout for there first OES for the last year. I'm pretty sure Mandy would be a perfect fit for them. It's all still in the process of being iron out so if for some reason it falls through I will get back with you all. Thanks SO much!! |
That's great news!  I'm sure I don't need to say this  but be sure there's a spay agreement. And if home this doesn't work out, please contact Nancy or Nita with Midwest OES Rescue. I had emailed them and also spoke with Nancy... there were ways they could likely help. Best wishes to Mandy and her new family. |
| The family I had lined up for Mandy had to back out. It's not the best timing for them to get a new dog, but do want to adopt a sheepie at some point in the future. Hopefully I can help them find a good rescue when there ready. So, Mandy is back on the hunt for a her forever family. Anyone interested please contact me. Thanks, Erica |

| Thanks, We are sooooo excited! Nelson loves babies (anyone person or dog that is smaller than he is) He lays down to play with babies. All we have to say is "Nelson, it's a baby" Hopefully Mandy will count as a baby. I am sure it will be love at first sight |
