Langley nutbar!

So when the weather is bad I leave the dogs home from work. The whole time they are home nothing is touched, shoes don't move touques and scarves stay in their spots. But when I get home he sometimes goes wild (especially when I am settled on the couch). I can see him galloping in with a long scarf hanging from his mouth. Or tossing a shoe into the air in glee. He only does this when I am home unless he puts everything back?? :clappurple:

I think when we're gone they miss us ...and when they return, they're just trying to entertain us to get our attn
Brick does the exact same thing.
I think he lies in one spot when I'm gone but as soon as come home, he's grabbing all his toys or my shoes, and running around like an idiot.
I think they're just happy that we're home and that they want to play.
Sunny's the same. I think she rests up so that when we get home she can give us all her energy :) If we leave her with a treat or a new toy or rawhide, she won't touch it until we come home. We used to leave her in her kennel anytime we were out, and we'd give her a cookie a day when we left. I don't know why we bothered, because she'd run out of her cage, say a quick hello, then dart back into her kennel to nab the treat, wolf it down and then run back out to say a proper hello. We even upped the ante and gave her peanut butter, doggie turkey jerky, you name it, she refused to touch it until we were back.
Simon has this weird game going with DH.

When dh gets up he lets the dogs out, feeds them and then gets in the shower. EVERY day while dh is in the shower, Simon will get "something" from the recycle container. He will take it and sit in front of the bathroom door(which is open). He, Simon usually does not destroy what he has taken, maybe a little shred here and there but mostly harmless.

Dh gets out of shower and tells Simon what a naughty dog he is, picks up what Simon has taken and puts it back in the recycle.

I think Langley is doing the same, looking for a reaction...and getting it.
