Dog ate tar paper

We had a puppy lose its appetite, and started throwing up at least five times already. The only thing we can think of is the puppy got a hold of some tar paper and ingested some of it. Is there any immediate thing we can do?

That sounds like a trip to the vet, especially since it is a puppy.
