| We are well on our way. We made it from Mankato MN (southern MN) all the way to Toledo Ohio. Left LeAnne's about 8am, pulled into our motel at about 10:30pm (lost an hour from central to eastern time zones). We'll leave tomorrow morning. Taking the scenic highway along Lake Erie - it only adds 30 minutes and skips the tollway! Should be about 7 hrs driving time to Rochester. Thankfully an uneventful drive so far...knock on wood! |
| Drive safely & defensively everyone. I'm going to try & leave by noon on Sunday. Should bet me there around dinner time. Time to go bathe the dogs now & then finish up some national work before I start packing the van. |

| Well, many of us are here in NY, all settled in. Tomorrow morning is the 1st event - herding  We will be leaving our motel en masse to pilgrim down to the site, about a 40 minute drive. It's also part of a fiber fest, so lots of fun tomorrow. In addition to doing herding, I am dropping off a load of OES hair and wool from a couple of our sheep to get processed and spun into yarn. That is a load in itself - think of all the spare room I will have for stuff to bring home! |
