Guilty Food Pleasures

Everyone has something - something that they know they shouldn't eat or shouldn't admit that they like, but we all have at least one! Let's see who's brave enough to admit their's. Mine are -

JELLY BEANS!! Not spiced, not the fancy-schmancy ones with specialty flavors - just the cheapie ones made with pure, unadulterated sugar and flavoring, with a little bit of a harder shell. And I do have my favorite flavors, too (yeah, I've given this WAY too much thought! ). Last on the list is green, next is purple, then pink, then red, then white (not all packages have white). Second favorite is yellow, and all time favorite is orange. It would save me a lot of time (not to mention calories) if someone would sell just individual flavors of the cheapie jelly beans.

SO - who's next to admit to their guilty pleasure?? :lmt:

i eat sweet tarts the ones that are rolled up only 25cal each
My guilty pleasure right now is Cheez-Its ( I can share a little with Frankie)

As Halloween gets closer it will be smarties, sweet tarts, and runts.

My guilty pleasure is anything with flour, butter, vanilla, chocolate, and egg in it (add in whatever else... doesn't matter as long as it has those things) ...and I can guarantee that I will be that little kid who never leaves your side. My family never really believed me, but now there are no comments about leftovers. At least w/those desserts. I eat abnormal portions (half of a 9X13 is normal... really)

I'm not a sugar candy type person (starburst, sweettarts, sour patch, etc). That's where Mr. J's guilty pleasure lies...
Far too many and that's why my feet were so swollen. Once I put my hands in my pockets and got my glucose reading into more normal range, all my shoes are too big...............but one thing I have to avoid......like not even going up the aisle in the grocery store is the dark chocolate peanut M&Ms. Don't even tempt me with chocolate covered maple creams.......so good it makes my teeth hurt......but it's been over year......hanging tight.
I never feel guilty.
Taco Bell. I'm obsessed.
Chris, at Halloween I've seen packages of all black jelly beans (which are my favorite, followed by red but only if the red are that fake cherry). Anyway, like Butters, I never feel guilty although I should. My favorite junk food is the salt/fat combo. Think chips (Wavy Lays for ridges, Classic Jays for non-ridges), made on top of the stove popcorn with real butter. I also love Fritoes with onion dip.

After I eat the salt/fat combo I must have something sweet. My first choice would be Famous Amos choco chip cookies (no nuts), second would be Oreos.

I wonder why I'm 30 pounds overweight..... :lmt:

I love Famous Amos and nope don't feel guilty.
I have two guilty food pleasures Chocolate Twizzlers and Marshmellow Chocolate ice cream cone from Bruster's. I rarely allow myself either, but I do really love them both. :)
so far, all of the above. keep going.

oh here's one that'll kill ya quicker, pizza or bread dough fried in hot oil and doused with sugar. :rimshot:

Okay, Guest - fess up to who you are!! Growing up Italian in the Northeast, this delicacy is called Pasta Fritta, or Fried Dough. Been eating it ever since I can remember. Even worked in the fried dough stand at our church's annual carnival. Some people sprinkle it with regular or cinnamon sugar, but the best way is to sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Definitely NOT diet friendly but SO worth it!!
Indian Fry Bread or sopapillas......the dough is slightly different but who cares! All fat and sugary or honey..........yum
I love chocolate chip cookies and brownies...and chips and salsa/guacamole. don't eat them too often so I don't feel too guilty though :)
ok, i'll fess up to growing up italian in the northeast.
Tonight I enjoyed an entire bag of honey mustard pretzels. I only meant to get a handful. :?
well, that was one of your better decisions.
your picture of skin and furkids never fails too make me smile, thanks. :D
fyi,
With DNA of chocolate nearly decoded by scientists, could sweeter treats await?

Why yes... I think pretzels was one of my better decisions [...in a long time].
Donuts from a shop in my hometown, Evansville, IN. The best are the maple frosted long johns with peanuts followed by a "tigertail" (braided donut with cinnamon in addition to the usual glaze).
The shop is called the Donut Bank.
This morning it was an entire 8X8 batch of strawberry coffeecake!!!!!! 8O
finally sumthin i haven't had and you ate 'em all. :cow:
sounds great, i may have to look up a recipe.
I thought that was an issue I only had. Eating a whole box of something. Once I start it's usually down hill from there. I ate a package of cheese yesterday.
On my way home from the grocery store.
