Kinda Cute

We went to Wagfest today and had some good times. Man were there a LOT of dogs there. Met some people we knew and just a pretty good day.

We were walking to the car and got stopped by some folks who had two little boys, about six or seven yrs old. One little guy pointed to Simon's little nub and said "look he's wagging his tail". I pointed out the Garfunkel would do that too except he has no tail. The little boy walked behind Gar to check it out and then walked away with a confused look on his face.

We have so much fun with Sunny not having a tail. Once our daughter got the concept of animals having tails down pat (around 15 months old), we asked her if Sunny had a tail. She said "yup" in her little toddler voice, so we said "are you sure? better go check" so she toddled over to her, took a peek, and raised her hands up in the air and said "ga gone!" (all gone). She then followed Sunny around for the longest time, staring at her behind, pointing at it, shrugging her shoulders, trying to find her tail! When Sunny finally got tired of it and laid down, our daughter laid down behind her, pressed her face to the floor to get a good look and said for the final time "ga gone!". It was so cute, I wish we got it on video.
