Blue eyes are quite the norm in Sibes, and it carries over in a lot of the Sibe mixes. So unless you have some other reason to suspect blindness, I see no reason why they would be saying that. It would be like saying blue eyed people will go blind more often than their brown eyed counterparts. |
I know several Huskies with blue eyes and no vision problems....eye color doesn't dictate whether a dog will go blind. Ask the person saying this to show you the study. That's always fun. ![]() |
I always thought one of the traits of Huskies was their beautiful blue eyes ![]() |
Load of hogwash here is my 2 blue eyed Sheepdog and he can spot things even the smallest crumb of food on the floor ![]() I cant believe where people that make comments like that get it from. Huskies are known for there blue eyes or wall eyes (one brown and one Blue) Dont listen to that dork that said that ![]() You've heard of "Old Wives Sayings" well this is a good one & so untrue ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have had two wall-eyed and no problem with their eyes. I was also told with my first ones to keep their eyes covered...if you don't want them to see anything that is. |
