Yeah, Pictures or it didn't happen!!! :rimshot:
I'm guessing that it will be a few days, at least before there are any wedding pictures to post. Give the kids a break and let them enjoy their honeymoons! At least, I'm hoping they have better things to do than to post pictures.
There's a link to a picture of Alison and Adam showing of their 'Lord of the Ring' wedding rings somewhere here.
Sorry cant remember where, so I guess they're official.
We got married on Friday! We were unable to take photos. They don't let cell phones or cameras in the courthouse. I think you'll enjoy this story.

Josh wanted to drive separately to the courthouse. There was a HUGE contract that Josh needed to lead on Friday at 9, so he needed to drive straight to work afterward.

I dropped Levi off at the vet and then boogied to the courthouse. Josh said he'd meet me in the front. Which apparently ISN'T the front, it's the BACK of the courthouse. I went inside and couldn't find him!

My cell phone was in the car, so I couldn't call him. I thought, maybe he's on the fourth floor waiting for me. Nope! So I start to get panicked... we only had five minutes before they'd have to reschedule us!

I start walking down the stairs and there he is 'well... I was waiting for you outside' :headbang: :headbang:

So we got married and Josh had to rush to work to help with negotiations for a few hours.

Sadly, we found out yesterday that one of Josh's colleagues killed himself on Saturday. So, this week, Josh will be spending a lot of time trying to take on some of the work load until they can figure out what will be done.

That is possibly the most unromantic wedding story I've ever heard. Rushing to work and suicide. Ughhhhhhhhhh. Please stage some fake wedding photos for us this weekend and I'll pretend like I never heard this story.
We got married last Wednesday. Not only did our court house allow phones and cameras, but they even instructed our friends where to stand for the best shots! It was so easy; we went in a 2pm, and were married at 2:03. By 2:30 we were happily drinking our lunches with some good friends at a favorite restaurant a few blocks away!

We had to juggle our schedule a bit. I had dropped the girls off to be groomed that morning. Usually the two of them are an all day job. Imagine my surprise when I get a call at 11am; they'll be done by 1! But I'm supposed to be getting married at 1:30!!! So I raced to pick the dogs up, and we moved the "wedding" to 2pm. And when we were all done having fun, I had freshly groomed dogs to go home to!
On Thursday night we had a big party at our home, and it was as nice a "reception" as I could have hoped for. We had a comic book convention in town starting the next day, so many of our out of town friends were in for the show and able to come to our party! The last guests left around 3am, and cleaned before they did so! I woke up the next day to a mostly tidy house; that NEVER happens after my parties!

Tonks and Luna were the talk of the evening. Many of our friends had seen photos online or heard us talk of them, but not met them in person. The girls love to meet people and play, so they had the time of their lives. Three people brought children, and the girls played with the kids all night. They spent all of Friday sleeping off their wild party night!!!! :D
...and YES, we used replica rings from the Lord of the Rings films. As we were leaving the house, we looked at each other in horror: "did we need to bring rings?!?"
We'd planned to get rings, eventually. We just didn't know if they were required for the ceremony. So we grabbed a couple of prop replicas we had here at the house; we're fans, what can I say? Mine was plastic, and Adam's was the real deal; a nice high end gold "One Ring". I suspect he's going to continue to use it; he's not taken it off yet! I plan on getting a real ring, and hopefully something with some sparkle to it!
