Willow's surgery is tomorrow

My sweet baby Willow's JPS surgery is tomorrow. We have to have her there by 10 am. I am a little nervous, ok I am a lot nervous. She is just a baby. 12 weeks old and just over 15 ibs. Just a wee one! So hard to put her through this although I do feel it is best for her. She has to spend the night tomorrow night. My two older boys 19 and 14 said they were going to go to the vet dressed in pinstripe suit coats and fedoras and tell the vet(imagine the accent) either he lets their mom spend the night with the baby or he may end up swimmin' with the fish. Too many old movies this summer, but I guess it shows they do love this pup! Anyway none of us like it that she has to be away from us. Well I better go give my baby some more lovin.
Lisa, mom to 5 human kiddos, a shih tzu and the cutest sheepie pup in the mountains!!!

WHY is she having surgery this young???? I certainly hope not to have her spayed! She should not be neutered until at least 6 months... her growth plates need to grow and close.....
This just urks me to no end that Vets want to spay them sooner and sooner......

Willow is having JPS surgery for her hips. This will give her a chance to NOT have severe displasia when she gets older. She is already in pain with her right hip.

I will be thinking of Willow this morning and sending healing light to her AND her mom!!!!!

I am so very sorry for this! I do hope it this makes her pain go away. Poor baby.......... I won't get started on hip dysplasia testing of parents and the importance of not breeding OES with less than good.
Thinking of you baby Willow (and her mama). :hearts:
Hoping your JPS will give you a more pain free life.
