Hines has his parents wrapped around his paws

My husband and I are proud owners of a ten week old boy OES, Hines. We are first time dog owners (as adults) and picked an Old English Sheepdog because my husband had one as a child and I am allergic to almost every other type of dog. This forum is awesome! I've be cruising it now for about 3 weeks (the two that we've had him and the week before when we knew we were getting him). I will admit that I am an obnoxious parent, my puppy is so cute and so smart! After about 3 days of being in his new home, he learned to go to the door when he has to eliminate. Yes he makes mistakes, but that's ok! He loves to sit in my lap when I sit on the floor and will bark (gently) at me when he wants me to sit on the floor with him. We are slowly trying to socialize him with children and other dogs although the dog next door is trying to dig a hole in the fence to get to Hines. He will run behind my legs but I encourage him with positive reinforcement to get to know these new people or dogs. Didn't know I could love my dog this much this early!

It truly IS amazing how attached we can become and just how quickly that occurs. Cute little furry little devils!
