My friend came with Aska's sis and I had a grooming lesson !
I taught myself to groom to day  My friend ownes Aska's sis  She doesn't know ANY comment. And they don't know ANYTHING about how to groom or care for her coat. She's just one big matt! And the matts are all the way down to the skin ! That pour girl  But they love her. But I groomed her about a hour. Here are some pics. Not much of a difference of the before and after as I only had an hour   Milla BEFORE   And AFTER She's a bit better. An here you can se her pour coat !  ALL of her coat was matted like this  ! And still is 60 % matted !  Her fluffy head After her grooming, still matted on her chin.  Line grooming. Got all of the matts on her feet    Milla's head after Just wanted to share my first grooming lesson ! And I hope I'll get more brushes and stuff soon ! |

| Wow Marin you're getting quite professional in your set up now! Great photos. Milla's head looks a lot better in that last photo. And you got her feet brushed out Tiggy HATES me brushing her feet and sits on them so its always tricky. |

She'd rather let me do this to her face than have me go anywhere near her feet.  |

| I hope for the pupper's sake that they take your lead and finish the job you started or bring her back to you for more grooming. you did a great job. Poor little girl probably feels a little better now that some of those mats are not pulling on her poor skin. |
| i think ya did great marin. mim, tiggy must be from bloodlines related too my guy. the turtle and the paw shuffle were his favorites.  |

When Aska was a pup, I was always tuching her feet and just pretending to trim the nails and just grooming the feet. So she got used to it pretty young Have you tried to give him treat when you tuch tha paws with the brush or just when he's relaxed just tuch the paws ? and give treat if he's good? I guess you've tried that but it worked with my friend's dog. And thank you sheepiegail and guest ! |
| Thanks Marin! I have tried everything!!  I played with Tiggy's feet right from when she was a puppy and she hated it right from then too. They seem to be really, really ticklish especially the front feet, I can get the back feet finished with treats and half way down to her front feet but after that she doesnt want the treats she just wants to sit on her feet. Her Aunty Lisa came over a few weeks ago and between me holding Tiggy and Lisa brushing we got them pretty good but usually there's a few little matts left that I just give up on because I'm sick of wrestling with her. |
