As far as I can tell, West Hancock Canine Rescue is a legit 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in Illinois.

I do not know if the email address listed belongs to West Hancock Canine Rescue.

I got this earlier this week and I just (today) emailed everyone in the area. Nita is traveling and unable to help and I have not heard from Nancy yet.

If no OES rescues are able to step up I will be begging our intake coordinator and One Tail at a Time will hopefully have their 4th sheepie rescue.

Heather, if One Tail at a Time gets this big guy and you need help with pulling him and transport, let me know.
Thank you Erin!! I think this particular shelter has transports up to Chicago weekly so hopefully it will be taken care of.

I haven't heard from any rescues yet, so let the begging commence!
Is anybody available to foster??
I am sure Nita and Nance would help if
they had somewhere to take the baby in..
So....
who can foster?
Looks like a newer all breed rescue in Wisconsin will be taking this big guy in!
oh good! I actually just emailed today to let them know I can take him, so he has a fall back option as well :)
