Getting back into agility

Before we joined the forum we took our first agility class. Boy was Frankie good for being so young. He wasn't afraid of anything like a few of the you dogs were. Thats not just a proud mommy talking either. :)
Then we found out about his problems and had surgery etc. I went to a pet expo last week, and watched our neighbor and her dog do some agility, and am starting to get the bug again. So I did some searching and emailing and have found a couple of instructors that will be willing to make some changes so that Frankie can enjoy agility again. The problem we are having is finding a time that works for us. Most late classes are on the nights we have PT. So they both offer private lessons so we are just waiting to hear back on those. Everyone involved thinks the exercise would be great for Frankie. Just not a lot of jumps.
Hope it works out, I'm really looking forward to it.

That sounds great! :D
I hope the private lessons can be worked out. That's what Chewie and I had to do for the beginning levels, as my work schedule and my own training class schedule just wouldn't work out

I managed to piece enough together from some lessons, a couple workshops and many emails/article exchanges on certain techniques that really got us to the point we could join the class we are in now. I still have many nights that Todd or one of the kids bring Chewie and/or Riley into town and we meet at a gas station and swap the dog(s) so we can go to agility and rally class after I get done at work at 7pm. 8) :? :clappurple:
OK....I have to say it...

WHAT WE DO FOR OUR FURKIDS!!!!!!!

...and I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!!!!! :D
Cool!!! 8)
Have fun!!!!!!!! :clappurple: :clappurple: :D
Lisa, that is great that you are finding a way to let him enjoy agility without putting any stress on him.

I hope your schedule works out. Have fun.
