He's curled up in a ball!

I know the weather finally is cooler...I looked over at Chewie this morning and he is curled up in a ball 8O

He has been sprawled out for months to cool off. I haven't seen him curled up all summer until this moment :D
It's 55 degrees here this morning (still dropping) and I have one very happy dog! :clappurple:

Yesterday was glorious here too! :D
During the day it was 75 and breezy.
FIFTY-FIVE! FIFTY-FIVE! Lucky you! Took Bailee out this morning at about 6 and it was HOT, HUMID and down right rotten. Going to hit 90 AGAIN and there is still a lot of Summer left. Can't wait for those cool days and nights.

Well, it should be coming your way. It's our 3rd day of this wonderful less humid and 20-30 degree cooler weather. It is beautiful!!
10:30 am now and still only 68 and bright sun :D Too bad I'm working 48 hours worth of 12 hr shifts this week!
68 at 10:30! It was in the mid 70's at 6:00 here and humid. What a way to start a day and this evening when it is expected to be cooling off into the mid 80's we have our first Soccer practice of the season. UGH!

Yes, here too - waking up to 80 degrees and all sticky. We had our agility and herding classes cancelled for the last 2 weeks d/t heat advisories. :( Totally disgusting weather.

People here are downright giddy with the change in weather!!! 8)
I'm loving that it's finally cooled off too.... I can't wait for snow :) *ducks* lol :sidestep:
Where is the picture of a curled up in a ball Chewie?

You post pictures of clouds and when I want to see Chewie all cute and cuddly there is NO picture.

Us too Dawn. :( Harry was soooooo happy to go to class last night.
55 wow raining -hot and humid in fla my boys would not know what to do in that weather
103 here. Sigh. Guess who has a HUGE electrical bill? Gina does!
This is the time of year Arizona has 90 as the cool morining temp and humidity as it is "monsoon season." Then the day temp goes to 3 digits. But I'm sure Darcy loves it!

Frankly we are fighting humidity too, same monsoon period. Nights can be low 70's or even high 60's, but warm quickly. I'm sitting here watching the lawn grow even taller as it's toooo humid and hot for me to mow, even at 8 a.m. Let's not even talk about the back acre..........weeds are close to 3 feet tall. Miss having DH keep that jungle under control. Wish we had a riding mower!
Judi - I got up to see if I could sneak the camera out of my purse - and he got up. :(
At that hour of the morning he's my total velcro boy!
Weather envy--a new emotion!! It is absolutely horrible here   I can't wait for fall--nice crisp sunny days and no humidity!! I think we might expect it to arrive here in November-- :( :(
Would love some snow!! :D :D
Would you folks BITE YOUR TONGUE!!!!

I hate the winter, with a passion. Before you know it, it will be here and everyone will be complaining its too cold.
Last week was just horrible here. HOT and HUMID all day and night. This week has been wonderful. It's so nice to have the windows open and the air turned off.

AAAAAHHHHHHHHH
60 degrees this morning.
Frankie likes to just lay out on the deck when I'm getting ready for work when it's this cool out.

Lisa and Frankie
Nobody said anything about winter. We just want cooler weather.

I live in a boring climate, winters aren't bad, summers aren't really that bad, spring is windy (OK, that bad) but fall is beautiful! Maybe we could glue the calendar pages together and stay in Sept or Oct! ....of for our friends down under March-April.

Oh Dawn I know that feeling except it is not just in the morning.

A couple of weeks ago I went for a walk on a Saturday morning just to get out before the oppressive heat arrived but it was still too hot and too long of a walk to take Harry. By the time I was approaching home I had to go to the bathroom really bad from the water I drank. So as I entered the house I ran past Harry and told him "No" about following me into the bathroom. He stood outside that bathroom door and started crying - and he never cries - when I had only been gone one hour.

You will get a picture of curled up Chewie. I have faith in you.
Oh Judy, let him join you in the bathroom! That's a heartbreaking story!
Happy Day here in NJ! It's actually RAINING! LOVE IT! :clappurple: Bailee and I had our morning walk and he was a happy pup.

I literally can't keep Chewie out of the bathroom.
Our house is really old, and the bathroom is tiny. THE bathroom - just one in the whole house...
It has one of those accordian pleated doors that latch with magnets, as there's no room for a door to swing....you can see the problem. Chewie just blasts through it with his nose and squeezes in.
He and Harley lay in there when I shower and I have to tiptoe through bodies to find 2 spots of bathmat to step out of the tub....yes, it's that small :(
I'd say 4 ft by 8 ft - and has all the stuff - sink w/ vanity, toilet, full sized tub. NOT much floor space!

So I say let Harry in

Seeing as I spend half of my waking hours going to the bathroom, spoiled rotten Harry goes in the bathroom a lot.

With my bladder about to burst that day I did not want to be tripping over my pain-in-the-a** bathroom buddy who loves to sit right in front of the toilet paper.
I understand that!! I have been known to bellow, "Get out of the way...." as I try to get around them as I make a bee line from the car to the bathroom!
