Can dogs eat pears

We have a pear tree in our yard. The pears are falling like crazy. Everytime I look at Frankie he has one in his mouth. Do I need to be concerned?

Thanks
Lisa and Frankie

It's a big sugar boost and his tummy may be upset. Dire rear might be the consequence. ..... :( There's a possibility of eating a wasp that often inhabit the pear.......so if you hear a YIPES, have the Benedryl handy.
"Dire Rear" I laughed out loud with that one. Its so true!
I picked that up here......take a bow who ever used it before. It is sooo appropriate!

I loved it too.

We had a nectarine tree out back and the dogs feasted every year.
Never did them any harm but we had dire rear of a different nature, the smell was dreadful!!!!!

They had a kennel in our garage and I swear one day if I'd have lit a match in there we'd have had an explosion, 8O it was dreadful. They didnt seem bothered though. :cow:
