Annie and Gracie Update -- Great News!

Great news -- Annie has a forever home. She has been adopted by a wonderful family in Massachusetts where she will be loved, spoiled rotten and given the great life that she so deserves! She will have 3 doggie siblings and also a 9 year old boy that can't wait to get her. She is in route as we speak and will be arriving in Putnam, CT tomorrow afternoon. She is being transported by a company named Rescue Road Trips. You can check them out on their website, http://www.rescueroadtrips.com or on Facebook. Annie and I made the FB posting when I took her to be picked up by Rescue Road Trips. What a great company. They transport dogs from the south up to the northeast.

Here are some updated pictures of the gang

My 3 fosters -- Annie, Max and Gracie!

Gracie is 8 1/2 weeks old and is one cute little puppy. I hope she gets a home with another dog that is Gray and White preferably an OES because that is all she knows. Last week she went in to get her 2nd round of shots and in just 2 weeks doubled her weight. She was 5 lbs, 5 ozs last week. Another great check up.

Please say prayers for safe travels for Annie and "forever" homes for Max and Gracie! I hope Annie's new mom joins the Forum.

Annie is such a sweetheart, you should be very proud to have rescued her and put her on the road to a great life! And Gracie is a cutie too, here's hoping for safe trip and loving homes for Max and Gracie too! :clappurple:
That is great news!!! I'm sure Annie will be in doggie heaven with her new family. :D

That little Gracie is sure growing - what a cutie :clappurple:
I think I missed part of this saga, is Gracie Annie's puppy?! For some reason I thought she was pregnant and heartworm positive? And does Max look Merle because he was so matted or is that just his coloring? I mustve totally missed a few threads!

Either way such an exciting time for Annie, I'm so happy for her!
I was so excited when I saw this post! What wonderful news! Yay for Annie!! I'm sure Gracie will be adopted in no time, look at that face!!
Annie made it to MA and her new family is in love with her and so excited have finally gotten her! :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple:

Yes, Gracie is Annie's puppy. Annie was pregnant and heartworm positive. My vet didn't think she was too far along -- he couldn't feel any puppies and most likely hadn't fully recovered from her previous litter. So I decide that it was best to spay Annie and get her healthy enough to go through her heartworm treatment. I took her in to be spayed and she was much further along than they had thought. Annie had 3 puppies, 1 wasn't developed another had to be put down because its front legs were severely deformed and then puppy #3 was Gracie. Gracie will be 9 weeks old on Monday!

Oh wow I did miss a lot!! I can't believe they are related, they look so different. I hope whoever adopts Gracie sends you photo updates so we can see if she ever gets any Sheepie traits :)

So happy for Annie too! She is a lucky girl!
