Anyone ever hear of a Chillow pillow (human) and bed (dog)?

I heard about this product on the radio and checked out their website. I absolutely HATE a hot pillow and this sounds like it would be a great product for someone like me. The bonus I found on their website is that they also make a canine bed and covers for the beds! Drez loves being cool, even when she's short-haired. Am wondering if I should make the investment for her as well.

Has anyone ever heard of these products, or tried them? I'm willing to spend the $30 for a pillow for me, but I hesitate spending $100 for a large dog bed. Maybe I'll wait until I see how the human pillow works before I make the decision. But if anyone has first-hand experience, I'd love to hear it!

Chris, just buy yours and if Drezzie is anything like Nab, she'll just decide your new pillow is hers and then you'll know that she likes them. Nab loves to run into our bedroom and steal our pillows. I finally bought her her own pillow and she leaves mine alone. She keeps it on her dog bed and lays with her head on it every night.
What a good idea. I've never heard of it but my dogs like to lay on the AC vents when the air is on and ceramic tile when it's not.
I just checked it out. I love the idea but I need a real pillow. I bet the dogs would love it though. I wonder how chew and scratch resistant it is? Clyde likes to nest.
If you go to Epinions.com it gives opinions of it . I had never heard of that kind of pillow before so I did a Google search and it listed the Epinions.com and it was interesting to read about. Check it out
Herbgirl - Thanks for the info on Epinions. What a cool site!! (No pun intended.)

Reviews seem to lean more towards yes rather than no. Think I'll buy the pillow and for the time being just consider the bed for Drez. The main difference seems to be that the dog bed is the actual whole bed, where the pillow is an insert for a regular pillow (doesn't replace the pillow, just sits on top of it). Plus the dog bed is made from a thicker material to protect against claws.

Wish me luck!

Chris
We bought a heavy-duty doggie waterbed for our last dog and he did like laying on it. When Frank came as a pup we worried that he would chew it and pop it but this didn't happened and he loved it too. But the darn thing split in the corner and started leaking so we ended up throwing it out. I was bummed cuz it was around $150 but the dogs really appreciated being cool.
