Sheepdog or Hamster...you tell me!

I am beginning to think we brought a hamster home instead of a sheepdog! We have 2 crates for Miss Willow, a soft-sided one for daytime naps and at night and a hard plastic one for when we have to go somewhere she is not welcomed. (she has been going everywhere with us-the bank people are crazy about her!) Anyway her soft-sided crate sits on my side of the bed so if she whimpers I can stick my leg over the side of the bed-she sees it and goes back to sleep. So last night at bedtime we put her in her crate and I sat down at the computer(to check this site :D ) which is at the foot of the bed. All of a sudden she put her paws up on the inside front of the crate and tips it forward so she could see me. I thought my son(who had come in to say goodnight) and I were going to pop. I told him to push her back over, but before he could quit laughing she had then rolled it on to the side, coming in my direction. :clappurple: Too smart!!! My son said, oh my gosh its like she is in a giant hamster ball. She just wanted her mommy...I do so love this girl. I think we are going to be in big trouble, if she is this smart at 8 weeks and 3 days old!!!

Ha, ha, ha
You are in BIG trouble now, there will be no stopping her.

Currently I'm being pawed and nudged at by Tiggy. How dare I pay attention to the computer instead of her.
Oh my, I see potential problems coming. For this girl, if there's a will - there is a way. Cute and very smart.....this pup wll be a handful. You'll have lovely times together.
Mom she is a big girl now and does not want the crate anymore -- she wants a big girl bed --- YOURS were she can be close. As any good sheepie wants.
I have already told my hubby that she will be sleeping with us when she gets bigger!!! Right now though she still thinks she can just walk right off the bed, or a step and doesn't realize how far down it is. She is too cute playing on the bed in between my hubby and I who have made a "body fence" to keep her from falling off. She tries to jump over our legs, I am thinking...hamster/track star! She is just too way too cute and oh so very smart! She seems to be learning things very quickly. She is very obedient and also is submissive with our 4 year old shih tzu. Can ya tell I am head over heels for this sweet one!

Isn't it the BEST????? A sheepiebaby just makes you smile..ALL the time!!!
Willow sounds like she will be a handful...but with alot of humor and laughter you will have such memories of her puppy days...that are gone before you know it!!!!

Can't wait to see pics and hear more about Willow's Adventures!!!!! :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple:
Your heart is lost already and you have only had her for such a short time! I will be curious to see how the shitzu responds when Willow gets to be a big girl. Pictures when you get the chance!
Maggie did the same thing. No soft crate for her!
