Val's in the LOU!!!!!!
Finally, last evening, we met!!! She came over with her lovely pair, Maggie and Henry and we had a very nice visit. Maggie is sooo sweet with Henry, giving him encouraging kisses, sitting by him, supporting him..  And Henry loves to be kissed by Maggie and returns the compliment at the same time Maggies is giving them!!! Their interaction is so amazing!!!Please pray that it stays cool here and that we can enjoy a special evening with all the sheepies.  Maggie, Henry, Harry and Heart~~~~  |

| OMG If if it isn't enough to have Maggie and Henry trying to follow me in there, now there's been a worldwide announcement?? LOL. After a long day of driving, it was wonderful to arrive in St. Louis and go over to Val's to unwind while the doggies played. They all got along great. Heart is stunningly beautiful -- so poufy and such a little lady. She is darling. Pearl was a very gracious host, keeping a careful eye on everyone. And Cosmo! What a cutie! Five dogs and no barking or fighting, even when the toys came out. (OK they have the largest collection of cute stuffies! Wow!) I think my doggies actually forgot that they spent the entire day in the car because the night ended on such a good note. I am so looking forward to meeting up with everyone later today. . . |

| It is pretty hot today in St Louis (although I gather we missed the worst of the heatwave). We spent a lovely afternoon in Forest Park, which has gorgeous fields and gardens, lots of interconnected lakes/ponds and a lovely dog-friendly outdoor cafe right on the water. (I remembered that from Judi's pics of her dogs in the paddleboats a few years ago). The mandatory posed picture:  Stretching their legs:  Cooling off!  Don't even joke!!!! Water and Heart do NOT mix...especially full coated!!!!!!  While Valerie was taking those wonderful pictures at Forest Park ...Val (from St. Louis) was working!!!!! But we DID get together later this eveing..... |
