Langley eats anything and everything

So my little picky eater; I had to take away meals because he wouldn't eat them now cannot get enough and he is a skinny lil thing. He eats double of Laika and she has probably over 10 lbs on him. I catch him eating my lettuce in my garden. He will eat veg that Laika would never eat and she isn't a picky eater. Like cucumber! weird! He never came in the kitchen before and now he is under my feet all the time. The change came... after a certain lose in the nether regions.

Wow... he really took off eating, huh? Wendel is a chow-hound, too. I found the ONLY thing he won't eat is celery.

Just be careful that Langley doesn't over-indulge. I learned my mistake when I took Wendel for his annual and saw he was a whopping 97lbs 8O
Honestly he could use 10 more pounds. I am going to try celery now haha!

For some reason both of them keep eating my sunflower's leaves! Brats! Finally they are growing high enough that they are harder to get but most of them are missing leaves.
I've yet to find anything even slightly resembling food that Jack won't eat. Sour apple fiber supplements, yep, now he comes looking for them. Frozen whole cranberries fell to the floor and before I could get the broom, they were gone.

A great treat is a big, whole carrot. Held between his paws you can hear him crunching down the hall.

Change in hormone level will trigger eating changes. You may have to supplement his diet with low calorie veggies, zucchini, green beans, etc.

If we were all girls here I'd make some comment about being bored now that he doesn't have to keep the hardware clean.............
Tiggy and Rastus eat everything too. Its a competition I think, "quick, dont let him/her get the goody, its mine, all mine"
They both have taken offered celery and started chomping away. 8O But I found all the chomped bits in their beds.

So mine agree, celery, Bleh!!! :P
Mine like asparagus 8O Suck it down like spaghetti no chomp just slurp and it's gone 8O

They love celery but I blanch it.

Favourite is tomatoe, I gave up trying to grow it as it never made it to inside.

  Boy does that bring back memories. Giant beefsteak tomatoes vs. St. Bernard. I'm sure that's where "Cujo" came from. Yep, same boy who ate our garlic harvest.

Come to think about it, all my dogs have been omnivores: the Newf in the cherry tree, yes, he'd spit out some of the pits 8O , the Pyr bitch hiding in the raspberries munching away, Irish Wolf eating the red chile ristra, Glacier stealing the entire bread loaf, MO eating my Greek salad, Jack eating.....everything.......no wonder the grocery bill is so high, I've got food thieves.
