Butch went camping

Camped for several days at one of our state parks and Butch really seemed to enjoy it. On Sunday I happened to look over to the camp site across from us and took a second look---there stood another sheepdog, could not believe it. His dad had the same reaction and mentioned how it was nice to know he wasn't the only one that was nuts. Too bad we really didn't get a chance to interact more but they really seemed to like each other and we did get pictures. Will post those as soon as I figure that out too.

Butch did get to go swiming, he got totally wet when he went with my son's dog, he was leaping thru the water and having a gay old time but after they left he would just go in up to his knees but did like it. Barked happily when he saw we were going down by the later. Tripper went in a little ways and he crawled out on his knees. I have never seen a dog do that, the water wasn't even up to his knees but he wanted no part of that. We then just took Butch in and Tripper wandered on the sand.

Barking wasn't too much of an issue, we tried to curb as much of it as we could as we don't want him to be barker but other dogs were non stop. Tripper is very good about that so he's not a concern.

Other than needing a good bath, I think the trip was a success.

I camp at least once every year with some of the dogs - it is a lot of fun.
Come August 3 of them will be camping for 4 days with us - tent camping.

Swimming and camping are even better!
We usually go every year too but this is the first with Butch. I'm afraid any tent days are over for us, if either one slept on the ground we'd never get up.

Yes they do!!!
They are double thick, like a mattress and a box spring.

At Walmart - about $30 - http://www.walmart.com/browse/Camping-A ... _value=All

I'm sure you know all about it, this has been going on since 1980 one way or the other so really makes some changes in a person's life.

OK you have an excuse then.
Thanks
When you guys go camping, do the dogs sleep in the tent with you or outside?
inside the camper of course. Butch thought he should sleep with us but that was discouraged quickly, he doesn't share.
