So, Rudy sat nicely while I held open his eye (and Gordon held his head still) and I put in two drops. I told him he was a good boy and gave him a hug. The next time he came when he was called, sat nicely, and we repeated the procedure. Now he comes, sits, holds his head still and his eye open, and I can do the whole thing without even having to touch him. What a nice boy! I've never had a dog who didn't need to be held down for eye drops before. He's a perfect gentleman. I even get a kiss after! ![]() I'm so proud. ![]() (And his eye's already looking much better. No more discharge and it's only slightly pink now, so I think we're good.) |
