They are too quick

Had company on Monday and Tues and even tho everyone was warned that Butchy can get places he shouldn't be in a hurry, they weren't fast enough. He came out with something in his mouth so of course I had to try and get it away from him, came out with a packet of pills and sure enough they were birth control pills, had to figure out how many he got as some are the real thing and others are sugar. He got 2 so called the vet and after some confiring back and forth with the office girl she came back and said he was going to sound like a girl for a couple days, said he already did so no problem. Guess it's a small amt of hormones and it wouldn't hurt him but boy they can sure keep you on your toes.

Glad to hear all will be well. I've had many an "urgent" call to the vet (ours, and the after hours one) over things consumed in this house. (Not for our first three, but Hudson gave us a run for our money, and now Rudy's stepped up too.)

I'm sure they must keep a running record of the most interesting things consumed. My favourite conversation was when Hudson swallowed almost 40 synovi G "chocolate" chews which were for our senior to take one a day. The emergency clinic checked everything out, told us he'd be fine except for a messy back end, and not to worry.

I read the back of the container which said seek emergency medical assistance immediately in case of overdose, so I immediately called back. They said, "Oh." And then gave us instructions on inducing vomiting. All was well in the end, but what if I hadn't kept reading?

Anyway, one or two BC pills will have no effect I'm sure. Thank goodness it was a small snack, and a snack of something you could count with accuracy.

Hugs to the little guy.
He is a character but we sure do love him and I really haven't felt so good in a long time, don't dare not to.
