Our Trip is Booked
I usually book way in advance but this year because dh couldn't make up his mind about getting a camper(my choice) or renting a cabin(his choice). So I've been looking online hoping to find something in the Bryson City area. So I took a couple stabs in the dark and called some places hoping for a cancellation. BINGO!!! We are renting(he won) a 4 bedroom cabin in the Bryson city area from July 19-25. The women I talked to sounded like your typical hillbilly grandma...I had to talk r e a l s l o w. I'm disappointed about not camping but excited about going back to NC. The next week after that is not planned, we'll wing it. The dogs are going and are excited to go on a road trip again  What did dh miss you might ask...Well its "The Tail Of The Dragon", 318 curves in 11 miles. It starts in TN and ends in NC. That sounds like fun - beautiful country  I get soooo motionsick, that road would do me in for sure! So, which car gets taken for the trip? My guess is yours... |

| We are in the Smokies right now! The boys are with us and having a grand time. They were much adored in downtown Gatlinburg today--off to Cades Cove tomorrow. The weather is nice here! We have been to Bryson City NC and it is a great place! |
| I'm so not sure about the tail of the dragon because I got really dizzy on a carousel last weekend [soooo pathetic I know], but I'm jealous of anyone taking a nice vacation!!! I esp. love cabins. |
