Far fetched reasons for a dog's coat not growing

I recently posted about my Mom's groomer and her belief that Mom's poodle's coat hasnt grown for 18 months. 8O

That got me thinking about silly things to say about dogs coats staying short. In my Mom's poodle's case its ME and my Wahl clippers, who would have thought, huh.

So far there's been:

Mom's groomer - its all the health issues she had
Mom's friend - yeah all those anaesthetics
Kristine - its the new monthly pill that stops coat growing
Dawn - I thought all poodles coats were like that
Me - I bought a new grooming brush that keeps the coat the same lengh as you brush

Ok your turn.

The best answer will win...............ummmmm, my undying admiration.

Here's mine Mim,"It's the new shampoo I use...and when I wash the dog...it causes the hair to shrink."

Okay, that's what I've been saying for years when people ask if I've had my hair cut...I reply "No, I just washed it and it shrunk".

Groan!
  amazing your shampoo works on dogs and humans
You mean there are different types? :cow:

No wonder dogs like me...I probably smell like them!...I mean their shampoo.....
