Is it real?

Last winter I decided to not go back to the agility instructor we were using because she just had us doing jumps for weeks on end and not working on stuff that we needed. Hmmm, does that make sense? Then I got hit with the never ending sciatica for three+ months. I'm hoping(PLEASE) that it won't come back...I had some problems(read pain) last week. Some weeks ago I contacted the instructor that I wanted to go to, it took some time for her to get back to me and I found out that she had no room in her class.

I sent out an SOS to "the" agility guru Kristine.

She sent me Sue's e-mail, the place she goes to and another person in Oconomowoc. One is about 40minutes south and the other is about 40-45minutes nortwest. I sent an e-mail to Sue and it seems that she has room in her 6:30pm Wednesday class. Thats the same class that Kristine is in :clappurple: :clappurple:

That means that Simon is going to be as good as the poor beleaguered Sybil. A person can dream, right???

I am soooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is good news! :clappurple:

I have taken 2 privates from Sue (after we were there for our weekend seminar) when I have been out there. She has given me good feedback and stuff to work on each time.
We will be out in August (for a 4 day weekend before the 28-29th) for our basset rescue event again, and I hope to squeeze in another one. She is only 10 minutes from the park we have our event and camp at, so it couldn't be handier!
Woo Hoo you guys are so lucky.
I'm really jealous.
Tiggy and I havent been to agility for 4 weeks now as the one week it wasnt pouring with rain :( I had a function to attend.
It is funny how you go through withdrawals when you can't go to classes.

We will get to go three or four times this week. Two group classes plus two private lessons. I am really sad that my Wednesday night class is ending this week until the end of August. I was able to schedule 3 private lessons with this trainer in July.

I am just glad Pam gets to go back. Hopefuly with no more pain. Plus it is exciting to start classes at a new place especially with a good trainer. I felt very fortunate to get in with my Wednesday trainer and will make sure I get my registration in early for her August session.

The one benefit of having a bad start in trainers is that you really appreciate it when you have a good one.

    good one

Have fun tomorrow night.

I almost had to miss mine tonight. I work every single Tuesday of this session. Until 7pm. Our class is outdoors for the summer, so it's a longer drive, and it STARTS at 7. My work is about 15 minutes away, and if I had to drive home and get Chewie (opposite directions) it would be after 8 before I got there. Usually I have daughter Lisa grab Chewie when she picks Norah up (Todd does her daycare), and they live virtually on my way to class. Tonight she has plans, so I am conning son Travis into getting him. He's painting my garage today - payback for Todd fixing our car that he is driving....such planning just to go to class!! 8O

Kristine, I did send you an e-mail...ok it was about ten seconds before I posted this...but I did tell you!!!
Just giving you a hard time, Pam

Kristine
Have fun tonight, ladies and your dogs!

Poor Sue.....

Pam, I hope your sciatica behaves and you are able to have fun. I just had an injury burst, but thankfully only sidelined me about 3 weeks - twisted my right ankle (in a brace 2 weeks), got cellulitis in my left leg, then got some bug with fever and malaise - knocked me out for a week plus. I HATE being out of action!
So Pam - how's it going??

I hope class has gone well and your back/sciatica is cooperating. :D
