So happy you joined the forum! You will not find a more informative or more understanding place to visit! I've read a few of your other posts...I get it...my Oliver and Lucy run my life my as well. They are my kids, and I love them more than anything in this world, took a few years for my hubby to understand , but I get it. Welcome!
Well...we REALLY understand..and would love to hear your sheepie stories!!! Welcome!!from St. Louis!!! Glad to meet ya!!!! :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple:
You're in Charlotte, NC! I'll be visiting in Charlotte with my girls Tonks and Luna later in the month. Maybe we could meet up at a dog park or something!
I imagine other breed owners are into their dogs as well, but the bond made with OES thru the frequent grooming brings them closer into our lives. Also there's that "silly" aspect to the breed......some of them live to make us laugh.

They are truly Velcro dogs. It doesn't matter what room I'm in, there's always a sheepdog with me......I just wish the bathroom was a safe haven though.
I was walking my girls yesterday and someone from Boston stopped the car to get out and give the girls hugs and kisses. She had left her boy sheepie at home while visiting her parents. We could not stop talking about how great this breed is! It is so fun to find someone that does not think that you are crazy. It is always all about the dogs! :P
Thank you :) It's very exciting to me to be able to share and talk with you guys about our lifelike teddy bears!

(
(darth snuggle) That would be awesome, keep in touch so we can plan a play date!

(crazy lap lap) That has got to be the cutest outfit on your sheepie i have ever saw :) Where do you find clothes to fit? I have purchased 2 t-shirts in xxlg and both have been to tight and to small. I can't seem to find any bigger dog clothes in any of the stores.

(sheepieboss) Yea, the bathroom thing is something i wish could be just one room i had to myself. When i close the door and all are lined up right under it lol
Daphne's sweater is actually a hand me down from my son. It is a "Polo Ralph Lauren" size small boy sweater. I got the idea from a Polo ad. Ralph Lauren likes to use Old English Sheepdogs in their ads from time to time. I also have a few striped rugby shirts that she looks quite dashing in also. Daphne is rather small. She only weighs a little over 50 pounds. She is very thin under all of the hair! :P

Tonks and Luna were in consideration for one of his ads!!!!! The dates didn't work out, unfortunately. The photo shoot date was the same as the day of our house closing. I REALLY wanted to see my girls in Vanity Fair!!!!
You know i never thought of using human clothes, great idea! Also guys check out this site i found www.alldogboots.com they have the cutest sandals for dogs. Crazylaplap i'm sure your girls would look awesome in the cut out toe ones :)

Daphne needs those to complete her attire :D
How exciting that Tonks and Luna were almost cover girls!!! We will all have to go to Ralph's next casting call!
Also, I love the dog shoes. I would have to go w/the animal print ones!!! :P
Hi everyone. I'm the owner of alldogboots.com and am so thrilled that you like my shoes. However, I must tell you that I don't think most of the sandals will fit the big furkids. I'm working on getting large dog sandals made. In the meantime, feel free to check out http://www.alldogboots.com/Dog-Boots-Me ... lbblue.htm They are made of a lightweight mesh material and are great for spring or summer. Thanks again for the compliments!
Sandals for big dogs would be great. Tonks and Luna have just begun having adventures in the stream at the back of our property. I worry about sharp stones and maybe even glass that may be hiding in the stream bed, and sandals would put my mind at ease about such things.

I have been searching high and low for a quality pair of large size dog sandals and am convinced that they do not exist. I will eventually have them created, but it will take quite some time. There are a couple of other options that don't have the open toe style that sandals have, but are still light enough for spring or summer.
Oh my!!!! How cool is that! The owner of that site is a member here :)

Crazylaplap, i like the mesh ones also. Yes because we have to get the girls in some stylish stuff :)

Plase keep us updated alldogboots!! I found your site while doing a search on the web...cool beans!!

I'm flattered. And, I'll be honest with you. I found this site after I realized that people were on here talking about mine! The sandals are very unlikely to happen anytime soon :( and I'm only assuming the mesh booties will fit the big furkids.

Here's one other option for you. I don't have the largest sizes in stock right now, but I should within 2 weeks. They can accommodate a 5" long paw. http://www.alldogboots.com/Neopaws-Summ ... sumred.htm

And while I'm familiarizing myself a bit more with this breed, I'm falling in love! What a wonderful animal.
Sounds great. I think mine would prefer the mesh anyway. You will love it here. There are alot of really great people on this site that have a wealth of information about Sheepies :)

Hey, we are very patient so whenever you get the larger ones made....i know at least i will be waiting :)

We may be waiting a year! The mesh booties fit 3 5/8" in length. Curious if they would fit your "little one".
